I'm French. I'm native of Berry, in the center of France, but I live in Marseille, in the south. I'm 40. When very young, I was stricken with encephalitis. As a consequence, I walk like a "Fauna" that's why I've got a limited autonomy. Nevertheless, it doesn't prevent me from living my life as we say here!
I studied law in Aix-en-Provence university. I also took a large part in the adventure of free radios and I worked as a salesman. I sold wrapping systems to firms. After having recently trained in management, I'm creating my own company.
My tastes and activities are very eclectic. I like:
Trekking in the Calanques (sort of creeks, see photo!)
Mountain biking (it's less tiring than walking!)
Swimming naked in the sea (in summer, when our Mediterranean is warm)
Sailing;
Listening to operas while driving my "Twingo Easy";
Watching Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space Nine on the French sattelite...
Eating well, mostly ice cream and cakes!
Drinking Burgundy wine;
Making a red ball get through a metal circle fixed perpendicularly on a wood board, in other words practising basketball, in its wheelchair version.
... And a lot of other things and people I won't speak of in here!
I'm planning to live a few months a year in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I've already lived there for two months in 1997 and what I liked most was its peaceful atmosphere and its cool lifestyle, so far away from the stress we're submitted to in Marseille- France. Moreover, Montreal is easier to live in when you're physically disabled.
Perhaps I'll tell you more later... ;-)
